  • Moriah Chapel, Llangefni, is also commonly known as 'Capel Coffa John Elias' (the John Elias Memorial Chapel). John Elias (1774-1841) is regarded as one of the most important Welsh Methodist preachers of his period. He was born in the parish of Aber-erch near Pwllheli, but is most commonly associated with Anglesey, where he lived and worked from 1799.

The drawing has been published in Peter Smith, 'Houses of the Welsh Countryside' (RCAHMW, 1988ed.), fig 31. Wenallt Isaf is a house with a medieval upper end. The lower end was reconstructed in the mid-19th century and features the datestone, 1827.
