  • This image shows four scrapers found in Paviland Cave, Gower, each about 3cm long. These might have been used for cleaning skins or furs that would have been used as clothing for the people living in the area during this cold period.

  • This image shows a carved bone spatula, a little over 15cm long. It was one of several such items found during excavations at Paviland Cave, Gower, these would have been carved using flint engraving tools known as burins.
