  • Detail of lappet made from very fine Brussels (Flemish) bobbin lace.  It features very closely worked bobbin motifs of elaborate leaves and flowers with many bobbin fillings, plain brides and plaited cordonnet.  It was made during the mid-18th century and comes from The Ham, Llantwit Major.
