In November 1907, she went down off Mumbles point, a total loss, although David Morgan and his mate, Thomas Williams of Queen Street, were saved. Earlier in the same year she had discharged a cargo of broken stones, for Cardiganshire County Council, at Aberaeron.

  • This model of a three-mast ship was presented to the Seiont II Maritime Trust in 1988. Unfortunately, very little is known about its origins or maker. The model depicts a ship which was built during the 1870-80s and much of the detail suggests that it was based on an actual ship. It is possible that the maker served on this ship at some time. However, there is no similar ship listed under the name 'Arvon'.
