  • This portrait of David Lloyd George by John Petts shows the former Prime Minister wearing his favourite cloak with Cwm Pennant, Caernarfonshire, in the background.  John Petts was the first curator of the Lloyd George Museum.

  • This bronze bust was unveiled during the official opening ceremony of the Lloyd George Museum at Llanystumdwy on 30 May 1960.

  • David Lloyd George borrowed this policeman's helmet and whistle from Constable William Thomas in order to escape from the crowd following a public meeting at Birmingham on 18 December 1901.  Lloyd George had made a speech against the Boer War when the crowd turned against him, forcing him to make a hasty exit disguised as a policeman.

  • This casket was designed by the sculptor and jeweller Harry Hill.  The casket features nine different metals which were worked in the Swansea area.
