Poster recording the theft of a horse, Llanvihangel Crucorney, Monmouthshire, 1825
  • This is an indictment against Jonett verch David of Castell, spinster, and Alice verch William of the same, spinster, for theft of a hen worth 2d. of the goods and chattels of William ap Thomas ap Jeuan ap Rees at Castell.
Endorsed: Vera.
Indictment, 10 January 1562
  • Presentment of John ap Gruffith ap Thomas of Llecheithior, yeoman, for breaking and entering the house of Thomas ap David ap Res and stealing 'apeace of lethere' worth 5d., at Pennyved.  Appended [in another hand]: Note that J. ap G. ap T. is to be flogged and put in the pillory.

  • Presentment of Gwenlyon verch Howell Bedo of Dinorwek [Dinorwig], spinster, for breaking and entering and stealing a 'warpe filorn' of wool worth 10d. from Edmund Griffith, gent., at Aberpull.  Appended [in another hand]: NOTE that G. verch H. B. is to be whipped.
