  • This photograph, taken by Geoff Charles, was part of a special feature published in 'Y Cymro' on 8 September 1955.  Postman David Lewis Jones, took nine hours to complete his round in the remote mountain areas between Tregaron and Abergwesyn, even though he only delivered to eight houses.  He carried out his round on horseback.
