  • This carved wooden head was a protective symbol against evil spirits.

  • This potato pierced with matchsticks was found hanging over a row of peas in a Carmarthen garden.  This practice had been carried out by the family for several generations.

  • A book entitled 'A Complete Illustration of the Celestial Science of Astrology, of the Art of Fortelling Future Events'.  The original owner of this book is reputed to be Dr. John Harries (1785-1839), the 'dyn hysbys' or wizard of Cwrt-y-Cadno.
