  • Part of Powis Castle near Welshpool in Montgomeryshire. An engraving credited to White from a drawing by Grose and produced for the contemporary volumes of the 'Beauties of England and Wales', which reproduced many fine engravings. This print was published in London in 1811 by Verner, Hood and Sharpe. The battlemented tower on the right of the entrance has a very alarming split in the stonework, faithfully reproduced by the artist.
