  • The full title of this volume is as follows: 'Domestic Architecture in the Tudor Style, Selected from Buildings erected after the Designs and under the superintendence of P. F. Robinson, Architect, President of the Institute of British Architects'.  The following pages relate to Singleton Abbey, Swansea, the house which Robinson re-designed for John Henry Vivian MP (1785-1855), the wealthy copper magnate, during the 1820s.  Singleton Abbey became the core of Swansea University in 1920 and now houses the university's administration offices.
