  • This is the Welsh version of the pamphlet 'The Right Hon. John Bright M.P., on Free Trade' (1885).

  • Thomas E. Ellis was first elected Liberal MP for Merionethshire in 1886, at the age of twenty-seven.  He played a prominent role in the 'Young Wales' movement, which was established to campaign for Welsh Home Rule, and was made the Chief Whip of the Liberal Party in 1894.  He died a young man in 1890.
