Medieval floor tile from Strata Florida Abbey

Medieval floor tile from Strata Florida Abbey This tile shows a man in a hood with a liripipe (the long tail seen hanging from the back of his head). He wears a close-fitting tunic with pendant sleeves and is looking at himself in a mirror. The costume suggests that the tile dates from 1340 at the earliest. Tile size: 127 x 130mm.
