Ieuan Evans by Dorrien

Ieuan Evans by Dorrien Ieuan Evans played for Llanelli and earned his first cap for Wales in 1987 against France. He went on to gain a further 71 caps during his career, 28 of them as captain. One of his most memorable tries came in a 1993 match against England when Ieuan Evans won a kick-and-chase race against Rory Underwood which led to a famous 10-9 Welsh victory. Ieuan Evans made his final appearance for Wales against Italy in 1998.
