Stave bucket, c. 5-6th century

Stave bucket, c. 5-6th century This bucket was found in a peat bog at Ty'r Dewin, Bryncir, Caernarfonshire, in 1881. It is constructed of staves of yew which are held together by three bronze hoops. A number of pagan symbols are engraved on the exterior and interior of the bucket.
