Llanrug Parish Register of Burials, 1813-49 [page 7, image 2 of 7] The following comment has been added to the entry regarding Margaret Ellis of Cwm-y-glo (no. 50 on the register) who was buried on 11 February 1818, aged 86: 'A singularly odd old maid. 'Though in rags, upwards of 17l. [pounds] were found in her house'.
