Woollen canvas ground, embroidered with coloured silks in cross stitch. Border of floral wavy stem on three sides. Divided into three compartments by lines of wavy stem.
Top: conventional flowering plant flanked by cornucopiae and crowned female figures symbolic of justice, holding scales in one hand and torch in the other, with religious text. In centre: Adam and Eve, tree and serpent, flying cupids, sun, moon and stars, windmill, flowering tree, animal and bird motifs. Bottom: Flowering plants, conventional trees, dogs and maker's inscription and date within outline.
