Court mantua and petticoat, 1720s. Light blue satin damask heavily embroidered with silver thread. The mantua has been altered and most of the train has been cut away; the petticoat is unaltered. From the Morgan family of Tredegar Park, Monmouthshire. Possibly worn by Lady Rachel Cavendish after her marriage to Sir William Morgan in 1720.
