Court mantua and petticoat, 1720s Court mantua and petticoat, 1720s. Light blue satin damask heavily embroidered with silver thread. The mantua has been altered and most of the train has been cut away; the petticoat is unaltered. From the Morgan family of Tredegar Park, Monmouthshire. Possibly worn by Lady Rachel Cavendish after her marriage to Sir William Morgan in 1720.
