Pump House Hotel, Llandrindod Wells, c. 1905
A photograph of the huge Pump House Hotel in Llandrindod Wells, opened around 1870 as a grand Victorian hotel to cater for the increasing number of visitors able to travel by train to the rapidly growing spa resort. Some of the guests are playing croquet on the lawn behind the hotel. Only the former bath house on the left survives today.
