Saw mills at Llangunllo, c. 1920

Saw mills at Llangunllo, c. 1920 A fascinating and rather alarming photograph of the Lugg Valley saw mills at Llangunllo, probably around 1920. The unguarded circular saw blades, flywheels, and long exposed drive belts all look hazardous enough for the workers, let alone the young children in the picture.
