  • This plate was worn with the fur cap by the officers of the grenadier companies.  The Regimental battle honours are displayed on rays emanating from the grenadier badge.

  • Illustration of a silver gilt bugle which was presented to the Anglesey Hunt by Thomas Peers Williams, Craig y Don, Anglesey, in 1824 during his term of office as Comptroller of the Hunt.  The bugle was worn as a badge on the sash of the Lady Patroness in the Hunt Ball.

This image is from a scrapbook compiled c. 1947 by Edith and Gwendolen Massey, Cornelyn, Beaumaris.  The scrapbook provides a detailed history of the Anglesey Hunt and contains a number of coloured  illustrations and photographs.  The Anglesey Hunt boasts the title of being the oldest hunt in Britain: its earliest minute book dates back to 1757.
