  • The pendant of decorated cattle / deer teeth which forms the subject of this image was discovered by Thomas Kendrick, a Victorian copper miner and eponymous owner of Kendrick's Cave. They are important because they date from the end of the last Ice Age, c. 10,000 years ago, a time during which Britain was only sparsely settled.
