  • Silver watch, hall-marked 1823, the movement inscribed G. Williams, Montgomery.  This was George Williams, watchmaker who worked from Broad Street, Montgomery between 1828-35.

  • 7584 Pte. Charles Paine Thomas was born in Usk and was serving as part-time soldier with G (Usk) Company of the 4th Volunteer Battalion South Wales Borderers when he volunteered for full time service in South Africa.  This watch was presented to him when he returned home safely by a grateful community.

  • Pinchbeck gold watch with movement inscribed 'Jno Yelah, Wrexham'.  Inside the pair case was a piece of sampler-work embroidered with bird and other designs and the word 'Love' within a circular border of geometric pattern.
