  • Large rectangular cream woollen shawl with a 4 cm wide decorative border along the sides and a 39 cm wide border at each end in a red, blue and green Indian-style floral pattern.  The shawl is fringed at both ends.  Dimensions: 300 x 140 cms.

  • Small square silk shawl.  Printed in paisley design of red, blue and green on a black background.  Enclosed  by a 5 cm wide decorative border and edged with a fringe.  Dimensions: 86 cms x 86 cms.

  • Small square woollen shawl.  Cream and tan plaid effect on a black background. Edged with 5 cm deep fringe.  Dimensions (inclusive of fringe): 94 cms x 94 cms.

  • Small square finely-woven woollen shawl.  Features red, white and blue floral design on a black background.  Decorated along border with two rows of narrow pink bands, edged with black fringe.  Dimensions (excluding fringe): 89 cms x 85 cms.  Fringe measures 11.5 cms.

  • Cotton shawl featuring black and white checked pattern.  Made by the Edwards family at the Dolwen factory, near Lampeter, c. 1900.

  • Square woollen shawl featuring cream, orange and brown plaid design.  Fringing around edges. Probably dates from late nineteenth or early twentieth centuries.  Dimensions (including fringe): 120 cms x 120 cms.
